Hello everybody, I used to be a SWOS master on my Amiga, I swear it
:P. Now I´ve come across this fantastic emulation but...the joystick
seems to be impossible to configure!! The installation program does
not find any joystick, despite being properly set on windows. Is there
anything I could do? (Apart from getting accustomed to the key-set, of
course).
Many thanks, and greetings from Spain.

Do you know if you can connect an Amiga to a PC monitor (with the right
leads)?

Just blown the dust of my 600, and want to give proper SWOS a go again

You have SWOS for the CD32!!!!

If I had that, I'd play it more myself.

Its on an amiga harddrive so it loads super quick...i have it set to auto
load so as soon as workbench is loaded swos kicks in, takes less than 90
seconds. If you look I have the sx-1 addon on the back.

I bought an Sx-1 as well. But I put a wapping 16mb of memory into instead.
IIRC its either memory or hd, you can't have both.

Hmmm....

I think I have a 4 meg simm in mine and a 60g harddrive and both work fine.
Without the mem upgrade SWOS didnt run from the HD.

Sure, respect! Tell me more about this event :-)

Yes, SWOS on HD is the best thing you can make! Superquick loading and
no more disk-changing. Only for SWOS I've bought an A1200, HD and 8 MB
RAM extra. Very cool! And the AMIGA version is the best soccergame
ever!!!

The best joystick for SWOS and the AMIGA (and PC) is the Competition
PRO 5000! Here in Germany is this the number one joystick for SWOS!
Very similar to the zipstik pro (I think very famous in England... in
Germany rare).

Having probs getting my PC gamepad working, but when I had it on the Amiga I
used a joysytic called "The bug" and a Megadrive gamepad, both of which were
superb

To connect an AMIGA-joystick on your PC, you will need an adapter,
like this one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3074181807

I've got this adapter and so I can play SWOS on AMIGA and PC! This is
a very cool thing and it's absolutely recommendable! You can use your
AMIGA-sticks (with one or two Buttons) like normal PC-sticks.

So you can play all versions of SWOS with only one joystick:
MEGADRIVE, AMIGA, PC and all emulators like winUAE or wGens Kaillera
(to play SensiSoccer online -> www.sensiblesoccer.de ).
